I have paresthesia or numbness in my face from a wisdom tooth extraction. There's not much they can do except wait to see what happens. In some cases they can do surgery with a nerve graft and some people take steroids but most of the time they just wait to see if it gets better. I did some research and found some people claim to have success using laser treatment with their doctors. In this video, I go over an article or study that was published in the National Institute of Health discussing the treatment of another patient with paresthesia using lasers which seem to remove her numbness over a series of treatments. I'm hoping the study will be a starting point for people who have this medical issue and that it's possible it could provide treatment or even a cure.
