Welcome to September, here is your planting guide for this month. Because the planting lists are so small I have combined all gardening zones into one video. September is a real transition month for many of our backyard gardens. September starts off warm and ends up cool and marks the start of fall. The days are also getting shorter and frost could be coming soon! But believe it or not, there are still some things that you can be planting in your garden during the month of September. For all of us, with the exception of those living in zones 9 and 10 what you will be planting in September will be cool-season crops, mostly focused on leafy greens. Remember if you live in Zones 3 to 7 anything you plant in your vegetable garden in September will be slow-growing and will need to be protected using a hoop house or a cold frame to bring the crop to full harvest. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Don’t know what your gardening zone is?
