From the second day, there was considerable waiting to reserve seats in the Heritage Train that was initially run twice a week. Taking cognizance of the same, the railways have now decided to run the train thrice in a week – Friday, Saturday and Sunday. According to senior PRO Pradeep Sharma, the Heritage Train (52965/52966) will now be operated from Friday to Sunday from Aug 2. “The railways have taken the decision to run the popular train tri-weekly to facilitate the passengers as there is huge waiting of the adventure-lovers to go on a journey on this train,” he said.
