This is a robusto sized cigar 4.6x50 and has a Connecticut wrapper with a Dominican binder and filler. The wrapper is a bit dry looking with very visible seams and veins. The foot of the cigar has a slight odor of hay to it which is very typical for Dominican tobacco. There is a slightly dry flavor on the cold draw as well. There's a light creamy note on the front of the palate with this cigar and the finish is a little bit dry and woodsy. The first third of this cigar has continued to have a creamy flavor on the front of the palate and now some vegetal notes mixed in with that as well. The finish is now a soft woodsy flavor so its not too dry not too harsh, just a very subtle wood. The ash holds on great. The draw has been a little more resistant than I normally like in a cigar but has been opening up throughout the first third and the burn is mostly even. The second third of this cigar continues to have a very full, creamy feel in the mouth, very thick smoke. The flavors have evolved a bit into a toasty wheaty flavor on the front of the palate. The vegetal notes still creep in every once in a while but they're not as constant or prominent as they were in the first third. The finish has a little bit of soft wood and some lingering vegetal notes. The draw and burn on this cigar continue to be good and the draw has opened up to an acceptable point. The ash holds on until I tap it out each time. The final third of this Private Stock robust has continued to have a very full smoky feel in the mouth, and the flavor is being mostly vegetal in the front of the palate with a little bit of toastiness and some pepper sneaking in here and there. The finish continues to be a toned down woodsy note and some vegetal notes lingering into the finish as well. This cigar has been an overall mild to medium bodied cigar and a mild strength cigar. The cigar has some good flavors but not overwhelming on the palate and not too much in the way of strength. This cigar would be a good any time of day cigar but probably best in the morning or as the first smoke of the day. The draw on the cigar, after the first third, really opened up and had a very nice, easy draw throughout the rest of the cigar. The burn has been great throughout, I haven't had to relight or touch up the cigar at all.
