And parking a car, even more so. But in the rainy city, the owner of a Ferrari with a NT$10 million price tag apparently had no problems to find not just one spot, but two. The luxury car was parked occupying two spaces at the Bo’ai underground parking lot. The driver had apparently obtained the permission from the parking attendant, and paid for the two spaces. But still, some people felt it was not OK, and wonder why he was allowed to do so. Let’s hear more. Do you think it’s OK? No. They say it’s to prevent scratches. That’s still not OK. He told me to drive down to B2 to find a spot, as there weren’t free spaces on B1. We paid for the two spaces. Parking attendant Says it’s OK If a customer has special requests or if their car has special needs, we can accommodate and let them park in two spaces. He had consulted the staff on site, and they agreed to it. The Ferrari owner says the he got consent from the parking attendant and paid a total of NT$150 for parking on the two spaces for two and a half hours. Staff at the car park says that, as long as they give permission, it’s totally fine. But even the official explanation hasn’t convinced everyone that double parking should be allowed.
