BUDGET MEETING DAY 39 *QUESTIONS 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗚𝗘 • 𝗖𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 (𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗡𝗼. 𝟯𝟭 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱) An Act to provide for the making and exhibition of cinematograph films, for the licensing of cinemas and for purposes incidental thereto and connected therewith. (𝙋𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣 14𝙩𝙝 𝙉𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧, 2025) (𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙨) 𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 𝟭. The Bill is amended in 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝟮𝟱 appearing at 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗕.𝟳𝟭𝟵 by substituting for the clause, the following new clause − “𝘐𝘴𝘴𝘶𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘮 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘵 25. The Commission may, on receipt of an application under section 24 (1), issue a film permit with such conditions as it deems fit, if satisfied that the applicant has fulfilled all the requirements under this Act.”. (𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙨) 𝟮. The Bill is amended in 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝟮𝟴 appearing at 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗕.𝟳𝟮𝟬 by deleting the words, “the text, synopsis or scenes or” appearing in subclause (1). (𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙨) 𝟯.The Bill is amended in 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝟮𝟵 appearing at 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗕.𝟳𝟮𝟬 by deleting the words “in his or her opinion” appearing in subclause (1). (𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙨)
