Marin County Short- and Long-Term Goals

Our program featured Derek Johnson, the newly installed Marin County Executive, who recently succeeded longstanding top administrator Matthew Hymel. Mr. Johnson provided an overview of how Marin County is governed, what the County Executive’s role is, and how the position has changed from his predecessor. He shared the top issues facing Marin County now and in the next five years and his short-term and long-term goals. Mr. Johnson also discussed how residents can be better informed about Marin County government issues and have input on those issues that impact them.
