Located on the edge of the Parisian ring road, near other iconic buildings, the N2 Stream Building, winner of the "Réinventer Paris" call for projects - designed by Philippe Chiambaretta's amazing architectural practice PCA-Stream - hosts a rich and varied program integrating office spaces, a hotel, shops, restaurants... all in a particularly dense and constrained environment, above two metro lines and between various RATP facilities like a transformer. The extreme complexity of the site could be anticipated and innovative solutions could be provided thanks to the implementation of BIM and Autodesk solutions. A perfect example of the industrialization of construction integrating facade modules, bathrooms and prefabricated floors, this amazing building is sustainable with its mixed wood-concrete structure and the highest environmental certifications it has obtained. Thanks to many new innovations for such a project, all the project stakeholders were able to overcome the technical and organizational challenges related to this project, also allowing, beyond the design and construction phase of the building, to to facilitate subsequent operation and maintenance. Charley Mercier, Hines technical manager, Jeremy Weill, Spie batignolles site manager, Laura Bouday, PCA-Stream project manager and Frédéric Gaurat, Spie batignolles technical, innovation and digital tools director return for us in this video on the design and execution of this architectural and constructive work having won the prestigious BIM d'Argent 2021 in its category, awarded by Le Moniteur and Les Cahiers Techniques du Bâtiment.
