This video is all about how I've found driving in this chaotic, historic neighborhood to be surprisingly easy and fun. To get the most out of your time in Lower Manhattan, you need to come up with a plan. Just like a vacation, driving in Lower Manhattan is not simply about getting from point A to point B. Make sure you plan a route that's fun and gets you to your destination with time for some sightseeing. If you're only in New York for a few days, it is not worth renting a car and driving around the city; you will quickly find yourself lost in the congestion of the largest city in America. It is best to use taxis in NYC or public transportation like Subway or Bus. 👉Driving in Lower Manhattan is daunting. The narrow streets and stop-and-go traffic can put the fear of God into a beginner driver. That being said, it’s also a great way to see the city, an adventure if you will. What makes it so challenging is that there are more cars than you could ever possibly count, some parked on both sides of the street, with drivers moving at various speeds and distances from each other depending on what part of town they are in all at once.
