The story, by Milt Schaffer and Dick Kinney, features a lion captured during a safari in Africa. He’s shipped to New York, but during transit his cage falls off a boat, and when he escapes, he discovers that no one in the city is afraid of him. Even stranger: people treat him like just another passerby on the bus, train, or in a bar. Eventually policemen catch him and take him to the zoo.
