The Schmalz vacuum lifting device VacuMaster Glass is ideal for safe and ergonomic handling of glass workpieces outdoors. The handling system ensures a careful handling of glass workpieces without damaging them. The VacuMaster Glass is attached to the site crane. Glass panes can be gripped in a horizontal or vertical position. The pane automatically turns into vertical. The vacuum lifter can be rotated by 360°, with 45° increments. Thus the glass pane can be easily aligned and installed to a building facade. Workpieces with loads up to 600 kg are securely gripped. The workpiece is held by up to eight suction plates. The position of the suction plates can be changed, so that the Schmalz VacuMaster can be perfectly adapted the the size and the weight of the glass pane. Only vacuum is used to hold the workpiece. It can be operated without an external power supply. A 12 V rechargeable battery is integrated, which can be replaced. An LED indicates the charge status of the battery. Schmalz ensures a high degree of safety. The lifting device is equipped with two redundant vacuum circuits and has an integrated power failure monitor.
