Pakistan | Lasbela Caves & Camel Racing in Balochistan

It's often not a great thing when the plan has to change last minute but WOW was it on this day! I was invited to be a special guest at local village camel racing in Lasbela by the Sports & Youth Affairs Department of Balochistan. The camel racing was exciting and the winners were proud. As the first-ever foreigner to ever attend the races, they also allowed me to help pass out the cash prizes to the winners. It was crazy fun, captured here and also covered by several TV channels ... so I'm starting to get recognised on the street as the "camel race lady" which I think is the BEST THING EVERR! After that, come along for a walk through the ancient Cave City of Lasbela. This gorge has been cut into a rough mountain made of mud and pretty decent sized rocks (not gravel or sand). The government is awaiting the arrival of archaeologists who can date the site and hopefully share more information on its people and their life as there is little known about its history What I can tell you is that it's a wonderful place to come explore.
