Yaz's Theme - Doctor Who Prom 2023 (Segun Akinola)

"I want more, more from this universe, more time with you." This fifteenth track of Segun Akinola's Prom celebrates Yasmin Khan's theme - it's a short but beautiful motif that accompanies many moments. This mini-suite tells the story of Yaz through her theme, with her main arc moments in Rosa, Demons of the Punjab, Can You Hear Me?, The Timeless Children and a very special piece from Survivors of the Flux ("Where Are We?") when Yaz views a hologram left for her by the Thirteenth Doctor, after the events of the Flux continue to draw them apart. This piece is only a slight variation from a piece heard in Eve of the Daleks named "The Doctor Cannot Save You" which plays when Dan confronts Yaz about her feelings towards the Doctor. This is part of a "Doctor Who" Prom concept featuring Segun Akinola's music for the Thirteenth Doctor, in a similar style to Murray Gold's Proms during his first time composing for the show.
