PLAYLIST:    • Meronti - IT'S OKAY TO BE INSANE   Release notes: "(◕‿‿◕) I am super excited to finally be releasing IT'S OKAY TO BE INSANE! Most of these tracks were made around 2019-2020. I've always been very insecure about my music and the difficulties I struggle with when making music as a result of my learning disorder. Trying to teach myself almost anything has always been hard for me. I have to re-learn things almost every time I decide to make something since for some reason my brain refuses to hold info. It was difficult for me to work on any music for quite awhile due to a lot of pain and stress I was dealing with in my life. A lot has changed since then and so much has happened. I started DJing in 2020 and got more involved again and I've made so many awesome friends. I honestly never thought anyone would ever bother to listen to my music, let alone enjoy it. A lot of emotions went into this release. A big part of this release for me was accepting the flaws in my music and that not everything has to be well produced or even "good". Creating should be about expressing yourself, your passion, and a way to explore your own individuality. There should be no rules when it comes to creating art. I'm happy to say that I can listen to some of the tracks on here without absolutely hating them lol. Sometimes people ask me how to get started making music, and tbh I don't have any special advice or tips or anything. If you want to make music or create something just do it. Don't worry about knowing what your doing and just fuck around and create because you want to or just for fun. Some of the most unique stuff is made by people who are inexperienced or just doing whatever and not trying to follow any guidelines. Thank you to everyone who has sent me kind words in regards to my music over the years. Thank you to the people who kept asking me to make music again. Thank you to all my friends.
