In this video I unbox the system, power it up for the first time, and test it with real hardware to see if it truly feels like an original Commodore 64 I finally got my hands on the brand new Commodore 64 Ultimate… but there was one big question when it arrived: Which version did I actually get? In this video I unbox the system, power it up for the first time, and see how close it really feels to the original Commodore 64 experience. To really test it, I hooked it up to an original Commodore 1702 monitor using chroma/luma, fired up a classic cartridge, and listened closely to the sound and video quality. If this machine didn’t behave like a real C64, it would show immediately. So how authentic is it? Let’s find out.
