New GM Vanguard Alert is up, and this is Arms Dealer today, a very old and methodical strike that can be cleared from distance. Once again, I am not a fan of -50 (aka artificial "challenge"), all it does is makes everything super spongy for no reason. At -50 you are forced to use some cheesy builds that allow you to bypass mob tankiness, while build variety suffers a great deal. What are GMs? GM Conquests are -40, why are GM Vanguard Alerts -50? Still no answer to that question. Mythic Kepler was a massive failure at -50 not too long ago. Anyhow, since we can clear everything from distance, and we have some nice sniper rifle artifact perks in Renegades, I am using New Land Beyond together with the new heavy sniper Refurbished A499. Both hit like a truck even at -50, which is great honestly. I also have a 2p Techsec set so that it is easier to break shield with those kinetic snipers. As for the build, I have one of my favourite builds on - Electrified Shield Throw, it combines Spirit of Contact and Spirit of Inmost Light on class item, making your shield throw a very potent tool that you can spam and apply jolt to everything. Lastly, I have the new dungeon Voltaic Shade scout rifle, it is just a great weapon and I wanted to bring it here. I took my sweet time at the last boss as I really did not want to restart. Once I noticed that boss is teleporting randomly, I just started playing my life above everything else. Build can be seen at the start of the video.
