DIY : Hydroponics Nutrient Stock. Pre-Mixing 12-Liter Concentrates For Quick Refills. Irrigated Kratky is going so well -- except for that one random disaster, which I'll cover in the future -- that things are becoming routine: start new lettuce every 3 weeks, pak choi and two kinds of kale every 2 months; and top off nutrient solution with 2L refill every two weeks. Harvest 1-3x a week. But... The only thing that's taking more time now is preparing the nutrient solution. Tried preparing 12-liter concentrates in a 300ml jar, and it failed: nutrient lockout. It clumps even if mixed thoroughly. Then... I tried mixing them in 2 liter bottles. The nutrients didn't clump, but requires bigger storage space. But I have enough space for 7 bottles. This supply will last 21 months for the irrigated Kratky only, or 12 months when including the jars for the kale and pak choi. Just dilute 1 bottle with 10 liters of warm tap water and it's done. So far so good! #Hydroponic #IrriatedKratky #NutrientPrep #HomeGarden #Lettuce #PakChoi #Kale
