Thank you - Led Zeppelin - Hammond cover | Bruno Erminero

Instrumental interpretation of the legendary Led Zeppelin song. Turning a vocal song into an instrumental version is always a challenge, as it lacks the strong emotional impact that only the human voice can convey. To overcome this, I drew inspiration from the great bands of the 1970s such as Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, ELP, and Deep Purple (in no particular order!). I chose the Hammond organ as the main instrument, and for the backing track I used Korg Wavestation, Korg 03/R, Alesis Quadraverb, and Minimoog. The piece is in the original key and, to add movement, I included a modulation, a section dedicated to the solo, and a final pedal tone. I hope you enjoy it. È difficile trasformare un brano cantato in uno strumentale perché viene a mancare il forte impatto emotivo che solo la voce può trasmettere. Per superare questo scoglio ho cercato ispirazione dai grandi gruppi degli anni settanta come Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, ELP e Deep Purple(non in ordine di valore!). Ho scelto l'organo Hammond come strumento principale e nella base ho usato Korg Wavestation, Korg 03/R, Alesis Quadraverb e Minimoog. Il brano è in tonalità originale e, per dare movimento, ho aggiunto una modulazione, una sezione dedicata all'assolo ed un pedale finale. Spero che sia di vostro gradimento.
