Wrapping up the Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 D-Pad upgrade search—for now. The current best setup I’ve found is pairing the eXtremeRate D-Pad version replacement shell with a scaled Thingiverse Joy-Con D-Pad model (by ElPulpoTX). Scaling the model to 106% delivers the best D-Pad feel and fit I’ve tested—solid quality overall, perfect compatibility with the redesigned Joy-Con 2. I’m picky, and my own printer is limited (prints aren’t clean or premium enough), but it’s still a noticeable upgrade over stock. I can’t wait for better-printed versions with higher-end materials from other builders, but nothing beats this combo for me right now.
