“I Wish I Had Hair Like My Wig” is my song about the desperate measure taken to get employment in a short haired world. There was a whole lot of mischevious mayhem hiding under my fake hair’s plastic perfection. What started as an attempt to fool “Mr. Big” turned into a full-blown life lesson. My quirky song blends clever lyrics, storytelling, and self-aware humor to explore that universal feeling: the world rushing by while you’re just trying to stay true to yourself. Somewhere between my long hair, and the absolutely marvelous, plastic-fantastic hair, there was a reminder worth keeping— “Above all else, to thine own self be true.” (thanks Bill!)
