The corrosion is gone, the new ribs are in and it's time for the new steel skin to be fitted to Brupeg. Once Jess and Dame cut the plate to fit the hole and shaped the edges needed to weld, some wedges and dogs were made to bring the plate flush to the original hull and it was time to start the welding process. Dame goes into detail about how and why we weld hull plates in like this, it's all about strength and safety.
