{45} Specifics of programming an EPROM w/ Willem PCB6.0 programmer, memory offset, Intel Hex File

Since it can generate higher Vpp programming pulses than many EPROM programmers, the Willem PCB6.0 is very useful for programming 21V 2732 EPROMS. However, the software has a couple of glitches that make locating the system memory down into the EPROM memory a little bit tricky. This video describes the hardware and a bit of the software setup to use the Willem programmer, describes how to program an EPROM when the system address is the same as the EPROM address, and then goes on to describe why things get complicated for other EPROMs when the system address is not the same as the EPROM address. Finally, I look at the Intel Hex file format to show how all the information gets from the assembler into the eprom programming software.
