Well, we have a lot to go over in this week's episode. So, for starters, we're playing as Peach for a short while after retrieving the orange Pure Heart in the last episode. This means that we increment the counter to 2 when we cut back to returning to Flipside as Mario. We need to continue as Mario to cook the Spicy Soup that will be given to Peach so we can wake her up and head for the Flipside outskirts. Unfortunately, as soon as she joins our party, we need to change to Mario to even access the outskirts. I continue as Mario to reach the orange Heart Pillar and open the Chapter 2 door, and I perform a glitch to get through the pipe to the Flipside B1 Outskirts where we can head for the HP Plus. In the Flipside B2 Outskirts, I clip through the blocks obstructing the switch that reveals a path to a chest containing the HP Plus and I can actually reach it offscreen. After doing so, I make my way into Flipside B2 proper and begin climbing up to the second floor, where I go to the shop and sell the HP plus for 400 coins. This will be necessary for us to afford the pipe to Flopside, which is where we will be going after getting the yellow Pure Heart at the end of Chapter 2. Heading into 2-1, reaching the key to the locked door was a NIGHTMARE. Without being able to access the flip blocks we would normally need to reach the tree tops leading to the pipe, we had to perform a jump off an enemy from the bobbing platforms in the water and damage boost off a Paratroopa to make our landing. This was not easy to do and even required me to use the Return Pipe to get the enemies to respawn. After getting the key, the rest of the level presents no roadblocks, but I do perform a jump off the Jawbus to skip the brick blocks and make it through to the door faster. When going inside to get the switch and reveal the golden door, we can't gold bar clip yet, so I switch to Mario once again to get the switch. I don't switch back to Peach until after the next couple of levels.
