COMMENT: Gengetsu's theme The theme for the older sister, Gengetsu, the most terrible, fearful boss. I wanted for it to have a real Western feel to it, but... I was aiming for a song that was pretty similar to Mugetsu's theme. Rather, I was really hoping to come up with a Castlevania sort of song... (;_;) Well, turns out it didn't at all sound like a Castlevania track (at least not similar to one that I know of), but at least it became its own unique thing that still sounds great. So great in fact, that I completely forgot about this character track··· This character's name is also interesting because "Gengetsu" sounds more like a guy's name than a girl's. But I guess it's the opposite for the Japanese. Heh. I wonder how my brain even made that connection. This track also has an A minor modulation moment, which's really nice. There's even some hints of Sleeping Terror, a track that's not even that far from this one. I still have yet to find this character in the game, but from that comment plus that melody I guess it'll be similar to Yuuka. Or worse··· That extra stage is just really hard. I still have yet to grind enough to just get to its half without dying. The initial lives setting (or any other setting for that matter) doesn't get applied to the extra stage, which really complicates stuff further. I wonder at what point I'll be able to do well on it···
