Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at the CURT RVi Series Four portable flat tow brake system with included wireless monitor. Now folks, this is what's considered a proportional braking system and that just means the same amount of pressure that you apply the brakes in the towing vehicle, most likely an RV, it's gonna apply that same amount of pressure through this piston and it's going to push on the brake pedal and the tow vehicle at that same proportion of power and energy, so it is a great thing to have, obviously it's required by law in pretty much all states that I'm aware of to have a supplemental braking system when you're flat toneing behind an RV and this has an audio assistant to effortlessly guide you through a very simple, easy 30 second setup and it gives you a breakaway switch that is required as well for the installation that's with it, so this is guaranteed to fit any make, any model, any year of a flat towable vehicle and it uses their CURT bullseye wireless monitor. Now, this isn't wired up right now, but this would light up as a colored screen and it works with this RVI brake four and it does come with a towed battery charger as well, and a breakaway wireless adapter as well. So this touchscreen here, again, is colorful and it displays your braking performance, gives you battery charging numbers and those kind of things. Obviously you have all the brackets and everything here to attach everything. This part here literally goes around your brake pedal and I'm not able to move a lot of this right now 'cause it's not plugged in and turned on, but then this piston can go out and push and apply power to the brakes. It has a nice carrying handle. The back of it has a nice rubberized base, so that helps give it grip and then right here on the backside of this, you have a charging cable here as well and then you have a connection here for that breakaway as well, so that breakaway is gonna go through the firewall obviously and out towards the front and then god forbid you have a breakaway, this cable here connects to the back of the RV. It would pull the safety pin, automatically applying the brakes that way you would come to a safe stop in the event of a breakaway of the towed vehicle from the RV. So it's a wireless connectivity, so it gives you a convenient and a nice, simple, clean, easy setup, not a whole lot of wires to have to worry about wiring through like most of the brands out there on the market.
