I walk through common arguments made by Mike Winger, Paul Washer, Voddie Baucham, Alisa Childers, and others — showing how they often misrepresent critiques, flatten out complex issues, and overlook alternative biblical models of atonement. Does God need violent payment to forgive? Did Jesus die because God was angry? Is God’s love contingent on wrath being satisfied?
