RULES: The rules are the same as regular Monopoly, except for these changes. The object of the game is to be the player with the most savings at the end. Each player starts the game with $250 as seen here. The banker is called the cashier. Properties have been replaced with items and are kept faceup next to their matching spot around the board. During setup, place 1 target circle token faceup on each of the four sides of the board on any item space matching one of the token’s colors. Shuffle the remaining target circle tokens and place them facedown near the board. Place the savings tokens faceup nearby. Give each player a shopping basket. The last player to have gone on a target run goes first. Whenever you roll a 1, take the redcard from whoever has it. Whenever you land on an item that has its card next to its board space, that item is in stock and you may add it to your basket if you want. If you do, don’t pay for it yet. Items in a color set give you double the savings when checked out together. A 3rd item in your basket in the same color does not receive any bonus. If you land on an item that another player has in their basket, you may pay them $25 to take that item from their basket and add it to your own. If you land on an item with a target circle on it, add that token to your basket regardless if you take the item or not. Whenever you pass free parking or go, you may choose to stop and check out if you want. If you land there by exact count and don’t want to check out, you don’t have to. When you move off of go, collect $50 from the bank. Do not collect $50 for stopping on it, only when you leave the space. To check out, you may purchase any items in your card. If you don’t want to purchase an item, then that item is immediately returned to its spot near the board. An items cost is listed here and its savings value is right below that. After figuring out the items you can purchase, you may apply any collected target circle tokens you have if you want. Only 1 target circle token can be applied to an item, the token’s color doesn’t matter. Target circle tokens double the savings of an item. Savings tokens used on an item in a colored set breaks up that set so neither item would receive the bonus. Add up all your savings and collect that amount from the bank. If you have the redcard when you checkout, you get to double the savings on your entire purchase. Now return all the items back to their spots near their matching board spaces, they are now back in stock for any player, including you, to add to their basket. Discard any target circle tokens you used to the box, they are out of the game. Keep any tokens you didn’t use, you may use them in future checkouts if you want. If you land on the red target circle space, then draw one target circle token from the supply and add it to any single matching colored item space. If a player already is on that space, they do not collect it, but instead the next player to land there does. If you land on deal dash, then immediately move ahead to the next target circle token and collect it. If you pass go, collect $50. If there are no tokens on the board, then do nothing. The price for getting out of jail is $25. You are allowed to trade items and money like normal monopoly. The game ends when the last target circle token is placed on the board. Then each player takes 1 more turn. Once complete, all plyers can check out any remaining items in their basket if they want. Add up all your savings and the player with the most savings wins!
