A great flight from Teuge (EHTE) to Niederrhein (EDLV) to get some night flying time with Thomas, who flies for a living. A good flying friend and a knowledgeable pilot. We took the wonderful DA40NG for this flight, we flew to Niederrhein, Münster-Osnabrück, Dortmund and eventually stopped in Cologne. After the landing at Niederrhein I think I reached the limit of my old GoPro's, so I wrapped the video up after that. Gives a good impression anyway. Flying at night is a whole different experience! The route as filed: EHTE N0110VFR ARNEM/N0124F050 IFR TEBRO SOBTU EDLV Intro and recap 0:00 Departure and IFR pick-up 0:45 Cruise 3:50 Descent, approach and landing 7:11 When I don't fly the DA40NG, I rent the PH-VTB, a well kept C172 G1000 as a member of Vliegclub Teuge (https://www.motorvliegclubteuge.nl/) and I enjoy flying a mix of VFR and IFR flights to a variety of destinations within an hour or three flying from my homebase Teuge in The Netherlands (EHTE). For filming I use GoPro 4's (1080, 60 fps wide lens setting), a DJI Spark drone and an iPhone 12. I edit with Adobe Premiere Pro and use epidemicsound.com for the music.
