Developing Leadership in Sport | UK Sport Leading to Perform

With the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games now behind us, we're continuing to celebrate the 'team behind the team' and the crucial contribution they make to the extraordinary sporting performances we have enjoyed this summer. Leading to Perform, a UK Sport development programme, sought to develop members of the high-performance community who were new to a performance senior leadership role, or were aspiring to be a senior leader for the 2026 and 2028 Olympic and Paralympic cycles. Over the course of the 18-month programme, the participants attended activity days and workshops to cultivate their leadership skills, learn from others in similar roles to theirs, and to create actionable strategies for building relationships and setting culture within a team.
