Talk about black holes and wormholes Kanti Panagiota was born in Giannitsa and studied Physics in University of Ioannina. She worked as a research associate in the universities of Minessota and Pisa as well as in the Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire (CERN) in Switzerland. After that, she joined the Universities of Oxford and Durham. In 2007 she returned to the University of Ioannina, where she now has a professor position. She is married and a mother of a boy.
