AGDQ 2020 Mike Tyson's Punch Out Blindfolded Speedrun 2 Players 1 Controller by Sinister1 & Zallard1

This is a 2 players 1 Controller (2p1c) blindfolded speedrun of Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! with Sinister1 on buttons (Select, Start, B and A) and Zallard1 on D-pad. It was performed live at Awesome Games Done Quick 2020 (AGDQ 2020) in Orlando, Florida on Tuesday, January 7th, 2020. Sinister1 and Zallard1 had both completed the game blindfolded previously at AGDQ 2016 but this run was actually faster than those individual runs! In fact, this run was a personal best and world record for the duo by 15 minutes! It was their first completed run with zero losses and the need to use a password. Sinister1 and Zallard1 prepared for the AGDQ 2020 blind punch out speedrun with a less than ideal amount of practice and were hopeful to beat the game at all, let alone under their 40 minute estimate. Their best previous time was over 38 minutes. This run truly could not have gone any better and was a great surprise to both players! Blind Punch Out is very difficult, especially on the NES.
