This track takes Revelation 9:6 seriously—“men will seek death and won’t find it.” Not as a vague future threat, but as something that already played out in brutal, documented reality during the siege of Jerusalem in 70 AD, recorded in every gory detail by the respected Jewish historian Flavius Josephus. Pilgrims had traveled to Jerusalem to keep Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread—to honor YHWH—only to be trapped in a city collapsing under famine, factional violence, and terror. Josephus records the nightmare in plain ink: people begging for a quick end and being refused, prisoners tortured when they wanted death, deserters mutilated and sent back alive—death fleeing the city while suffering was stretched on purpose. While not spoken about in the song, it's even recorded that a mother cooked her own infant for lack of food and the madness that seized this holy day season. This song is a hammer: if this prophecy can be read in Scripture and traced in history with matching detail, then the “everything is still waiting in our future” narrative needs to be challenged—hard. Turn it up. Read the record. Decide what you believe. #Revelation #Revelation9 #70AD #SiegeOfJerusalem #Josephus #Passover #UnleavenedBread #BibleProphecy #ProphecyFulfilled #Preterism #SecondTemple #Jerusalem #HeavyMetal #GrooveMetal #ThrashMetal #MetalLyrics #ChristianMetal #BiblicalHistory #EndTimes #Apocalypse
