"Au clair de la lune" - Victory School (Gr. 4-5 Instrumental Ensemble)

The Victory School Elementary Orff Ensemble enjoyed learning to play Au clair de la lune for the 2025 CBC Music Class Challenge! In this ensemble, students in Grades 4 and 5 performed on soprano, alto, tenor, and bass recorders; soprano ukuleles; glockenspiels; metallophones; xylophones; and bass bars. The students learned to play several different instrument parts and then selected the one they liked best for the performance. Victory School is located on Treaty One Territory, the original lands of the Anishinaabeg, Inninew, Anish-Inninew, Dakota, and Dene Nations, and the homeland of the Red River Métis. It is part of the West Kildonan community in the Seven Oaks School Division in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
