I tried really hard to keep it from being cheesy, so in order to do that, I sacrificed a happy ending. I used Emily Browning from A Series of Unfortunate Events because Violet sort of fits in the Harry Potter world :) But she's Snape's daughter, not Violet Baudelaire! Basically what happens is, Zoe Jane (I just named her that because of the song) finds out that her father is Severus Snape, a professor at Hogwarts. (You can decide how little Zoe came about. From Lily, another character, a one-night stand, take your pick.) Zoe goes to a different wizarding school but decides to go to Hogwarts to meet him. After the initial shock factor, they start to bond. Then at the part with the flashbacks, Snape is telling Zoe about all the shit he's been through. But Zoe's unable to forgive him for becoming a Death Eater. By the end, Snape really wants her to stay, but she won't. She realizes that meeting her father was a big mistake and goes back home immediately. In my head, this leaves Snape extremely hurt - losing perhaps the only other person he'd ever met that he may have loved. I really like this video.
