Heart Broken Sad Song | Heart Touching Song 💔 | Student Death | Tragic Incident | School Student dies of an electric shock Class 8 student named Mithun tragically died from electrocution at Thevalakkara Boys High School in Kollam, Kerala on Thursday, July 17, 2025.  The incident occurred when Mithun was attempting to retrieve his footwear that had fallen on top of a cycle shed adjacent to the school building. He reportedly came into contact with a low-hanging live wire near the shed, resulting in his immediate death. The visuals of the incident were captured on camera.  Following the incident, the Child Rights Commission, Human Rights Commission, and relevant ministers have requested reports from authorities. An investigation is ongoing to understand the presence of a live wire on school grounds, with school authorities claiming to have previously notified the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB). The Education Minister has also indicated a review of the school's fitness certificate.  The tragedy has led to protests from opposition parties, who attribute the death to negligence by the Education and Power Departments.
