This Japanese Only Gameboy Title isn't the first time Popeye graced Nintendo hardware, but it's certainly one of his best outings in a video game! While it's sequel would see a release by Activision in the West and be a platformer, the 1st Popeye title is a solid and surprisingly unique spin on the maze game genre, that you'd be a fool to ignore! This is the 30th episode of Boyographic, the series looking to highlight the highs and lows of the Gameboy library, playing the hits and the misses so you don't have to! All animation, gameplay and film footage is used in fair use to give a cultural perspective of the character and context for this game's release.
