An old tourism video created in the US to advertise Rail Europe's Eurailpass. Digitized from tape (VHS). Also of note: I couldn't find any publication date for this video, but I narrowed it down between 1990 and 1991. I went with 1991 as I found a Eurailpass matching one in the video online dated from that year. Despite being a tourism video, I find this to be shot really well, with some cool interior and exterior train footage and lots of great shots of historical destinations. I also love seeing the orange TGV in action. Digitized using a JVC HR S3911U VCR with s-video output run through a Panasonic ES-15 for TBC-like stabilization. Captured using an I-O Data GV-USB2 with VirtualDub and deinterlaced with StaxRip. Additional color correction, audio balancing, and sharpening done in DaVinci Resolve.
