It's fitting for someone with a theme called "Reincarnation," whose role as a vengeful spirit is to seek "return," to be associated with a fandom joke about "needing to return." Who knows, maybe she has already taken new form and appeared somewhere? I wrote this thinking of how bits of her old character already echo through the new canon: through Marisa's spell cards and astronomical motifs, certain familiar plot elements...
