Dr. Wesley Zandberg, Assistant Professor, University of British Colombia completed his PhD and post-doctorate studies at Simon Fraser University. Working on projects that aimed at developing inhibiters for the enzymes that break down the complex carbohydrates, Wesley was introduced to the challenges associated with the analysis of these surprisingly complex range of carbohydrates found in nature.
