Is the Bavarian Forest really the "wildest" forest in Germany? And if so, why? Ramon Babazadeh wants to know. He accompanies tree climbers to dizzying heights and discovers a real jungle with a ranger! ( You can find more "beautiful" in the media library: https://1.ard.de/bayerischer-wald-wun... ) 00:00:00 Greeting 00:02:00 Start in the Bavarian Forest 00:08:37 Neuschönau treetop path 00:11:01 mountain bike tour on the big Arber 00:18:33 Weißwurst seminar at the Weißwurst equator 00:29:00 The glass barn in Raubühl 00:31:30 Glass factory in Bodenmais 00:40:43 Furth im Wald 00:46:30 Vacation on an original farm 00:53:47 On the way on the river Schwarzer Regen 00:59:54 On the Czech border near Bayrisch Eisenstein 01:04:40 Visit to Wolfgang Schreil or "Woid Woife" 01:12:53 Bavarian Forest National Park 01:21:10 Drachenstich Festival near Furth im Wald 01:27:01 Farewell The townsman asks convinced "Woidler" what makes their homeland so fascinating and ends up in the hut of "Woid Woife", the most famous wildlife whisperer and conservationist in Bavaria. Ramon Babazadeh finds Bavarian attitude to life in the spa town of Bodenmais: Here he does his white sausage diploma, tests the root schnapps Bärwurz and looks over the shoulder of glass artists. Ramon Babazadeh conquered the Großer Arber by e-bike, he explored "Bavarian Canada" by canoe. In Furth am Wald, on the border with the Czech Republic, he is allowed to play a knight himself in the historical spectacle "Drachenstich". On a historic farm, he immerses himself in the world around 1900: sleeping alcove in the attic, heat the stove for the coffee water and toil like more than 100 years ago. The Bavarian Forest extends from the Upper Palatinate to Lower Bavaria along the Czech border. Germany's first national park was founded here in 1970. The arborists, who take care of the health and preservation of the forests, have the best overview. The Bavarian Forest is a classic travel destination for hikers and nature lovers. Around 1.3 million holiday guests come every year. Bodenmais is the tourist center of the region. The Bavarian Forest is characterized by nature and culture. Legends, myths and stories encounter the visitor at every turn. Probably the most spectacular is the "Dragon Stitch" in Furth am Wald.
