Matt Stibbs Interoperability Specialist, Urgent & Emergency Care Matt has worked in healthcare technology for over 10 years, specialising in technical product management where a significant focus of his work has been on operational interoperability and integration. He spent nearly 10 years working for Advanced Health & Care where he was responsible for the product management and overall design of products such as Adastra. He oversaw several key integrations with regional and national health records including the Summary Care Record and was the primary architect for the implementation within Adastra of the national NHS 111 and Out of Hours interoperability standards. Over the last 2 years Matt has been working with both NHS England, and more recently NHS Digital, to provide interoperability and domain-specific expertise in support of the wider Urgent & Emergency Care programme. He believes in enabling the use of good interoperability, not just by defining standards and specifications, but by improving the sharing of knowledge and guidance. He is also a keen supporter of open-source and working in the open, and particularly the advantages that it can bring to a challenge as great as improving NHS technology.
