If only PS4's main digital core components included the capabilities necessary to capture video recordings outreaching longer than the maximum limit of 1 hour, then I would've been able to show the whole entire duration of this [insert justifiably exaggerated list of adjectives here] fight. Regrettably due to these console limitations, I only managed to secure what happened during the climax of the elongated battle until we established our well deserved victory. Which has always been an important commitment to attain as a result of the soul crushing defeat we were ruthlessly forced to grasp onto just like how it normally always feels for players whenever the "Quest Failed" makes a warm welcome introduction callously placed dead center in the screen. Except even more revolting once an overwhelming sense within your mind comes to fruition that the 3 WHOLE HOURS spent engaging civilization's plus nature's PLUS the potential planet's worst known bottomless stomach of an apocalypse is officially led to waste in complete and total failure. Yeah. By this point, I'm sure you can fully understand that my recent defeat with Berserk Raviente was something I felt so mortified to always remember by as THE first experience I had with a Raviente. And seeking revenge against it has since been my utmost priority to accomplish immediately after accepting that insufferable loss To summarize, we failed the first time, but we eventually came back strong together by acquiring an unyielding desire for vengeance. Mainly for me. So reaching this victory felt exceptionally important. A huge shout out should respectfully go out to everyone who was involved in this run. Especially Dalek_Thal for doing his sole part on streaming the whole thing on Twitch, (https://www.twitch.tv/videos/52488337...) so I have everyone who was involved to thank for making this a complete experience (even though I joined a little late on the fight, I still had a HUGE blast getting in on the action in full display nonetheless) Ok seriously, I am saying FAR TOO MUCH groveling over the past and barely anything contributing reasons why I love this monster. For that I'd have to take the near equivalent route to what I mentioned before with Guanzorumu. HE. IS. COMPLETE. More than enough to even have it's very own unique ecology scene demonstrating everything in grand full display on WHAT. IT. IS. Though one thing that irritates me is it's placement on the monster category. For whatever dumb reason, despite it's life threatening behavior and apocalyptic capabilities, it is NOT an elder dragon. It is an unclassified monster species. Sure Capcom, whatever you say. One aspect that always stuck with me however was it's authentic design concept of an actual dragon depicted in Chinese mythology. And every feature it has from the get up prior to ravenous impulse amid an underground cavern, the very outset of Raviente fits those exact details of "Year of the Dragon" so coddamn masterfully that the amount of detail put into that idea alone is absolutely phenomenal. Evolution thanks to periods of starvation for God knows how long also does it's part for natural change. Where hunger = more aggression. And of course G10 just HAD to amplify those traits to a quintuple scale by multiplying everything so fucking high to surpass imagination, that putting "Berserk" into it's name does not need ANY further clarification. BECAUSE HOLY FUCKING SHIT THE SHEER AMOUNT OF ACTION THIS FIGHT HAS IS BORDERLINE INSANE!!!!!! Not just because of the whole devastation occurring from the monster itself, but the fact that a FULL PARTY OF PLAYERS providing assistance from front to back in multiple quests just to PARTICIPATE IN A FULL. SCALE. ASSAULT. is what was made for it by design alone. FURTHERMORE TO SOMEHOW MAKE IT ALL FIT ON THE DOS ENGINE! I- I- J- JU- H- H- HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?!?!? OTHER THAN THE MASSIVE SIZE OF EVERYTHING GOING ON ALL AT ONCE IN THIS FIGHT, I LEGITIMATELY CAN NOT FUCKING BELIEVE THAT SOMETHING THIS FREAKISHLY GIGANTIC ON DESIGN, CONCEPT, AND PROGRAMMING COMBINED, ACTUALLY BELONGS IN A MONSTER HUNTER GAME. THAT ALONE IS FUCKING INCREDIBLE BEYOND CAPACITY. AND I THOUGHT DALMADUR WAS CRAZY ENOUGH BUT THIS???? THIS ENTIRE FIGHT SETS A NEW RECORD ON MONSTER DESIGN MORE THAN ANYTHING THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! This fight was simultaneously an eye widening and jaw dropping experience, that it ultimately obliterated my expectations exceedingly far enough to pretty much leave me completely speechless based on the first sentence I said when I saw it for the first time in game. I literally had nothing else left to say about it because the very size of Berserk Raviente itself was sufficient to put me in COMPLETE. TOTAL. SHOCK. from exactly what was being revealed from my vision. When it comes to action, teamwork, and record breaking designs, Berserk Raviente is a complete masterpiece as a "Normal" (How?) Frontier monster. Top 5 EASY
