The first year of the life of two unstoppable beautiful baby girls, defying all the odds. Identical twins Madeline and Isabella were born on July 4, 2007. On September 5, 2007 at 2 months old a large, cancerous tumor was found in Maddie's abdomen. The cancer cells spread through her little body to her liver and bone marrow. 2 days later on September 7, the same cells were found in Bella's liver and bone marrow. They both had cancer -- stage 4S Neuroblastoma. It is believed that the cancer began in utero with Maddie, and she gave it to her sister through the placenta. After four rounds of grueling chemotherapy both girls were declared healthy. Congrats girls. And now here's to the rest of your lives. All pictures and information property of the Dunn Family.
