Teams from across the nation gather here to compete in a fast-paced, professionally organised tournament environment that rivals some of the best international events. The series is played in the speedball format—a high-energy version of paintball set on a compact field filled with inflatable bunkers. This setup produces quick, high-pressure gameplay that demands fast reflexes, solid teamwork, clear communication, and smart tactical decisions. With several rounds scheduled throughout the season, teams earn points over time, making each match meaningful in the overall standings. A major strength of the Super7s is its approachability. The league is divided into three divisions—Amateur, Semi-Pro, and Pro—allowing players of all skill levels to find a competitive tier that feels right for them. Newcomers usually start in the Amateur division, where they can pick up vital skills like communication, field positioning, and strategic movement while gaining experience in a supportive setting. Equipment is lightweight, fast-shooting, and carefully regulated for safety and fairness, and protective masks are mandatory to ensure a safe playing experience. Super7s tournaments span entire weekends and feature nonstop, high-intensity games. Because speedball matches are intentionally short—often only a few minutes long—teams must rely on aggressive plays, well-coordinated breakouts, and constant communication to win. The atmosphere at these events is electric: referees keep gameplay running smoothly, spectators gather around dedicated viewing areas, vendors offer gear and supplies, and media teams capture all the action. Even with the competitive edge, the community is friendly and supportive, with teams encouraging one another and sharing a genuine passion for the sport. For beginners, the Super7s provides a fantastic introduction to competitive paintball. It highlights the athleticism, strategy, teamwork, and excitement that define tournament play. Whether you’re stepping onto a competitive field for the first time or looking to take your casual paintball experience to the next level, the Super7s Paintball Series offers a structured, welcoming, and thrilling pathway into the sport in Australia.
