Collaborators, Bystanders, Heroes: Beverly Margolies at TEDxBergenCommunityCollege

As an Instructional Designer at Bergen, Beverly empowers faculty to teach with technology, in new and creative ways. Growing up she was inspired by the stories her parents shared of growing up as Jewish teenagers during the Holocaust. These firsthand accounts of the Holocaust are extraordinary and personal and continue to inspire students just as they have inspired Margolies. Her YouTube site,    / bevmargo  , is listed on the "Holocaust Education -- Creative Inspirations" page on NJ's Department of Education website. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
