The Mach Loop Time Trial series continues, and this time we’re taking a legendary jet fighter through one of the most famous low-level flying areas in the world — the North Wales Mach Loop. In this episode of Geordie Wings, I fly the iconic F-86 Sabre in Microsoft Flight Simulator and attempt a full Mach Loop low-level time trial, pushing the aircraft as fast as possible through the valleys while staying terrain-masked and navigating the tight turns of this legendary military training route. The North Wales Mach Loop has been used for decades by RAF and NATO fast-jet crews for low-level tactical training, where pilots practice high-speed terrain following at extremely low altitude. Today we’re recreating that experience in MSFS 2020, flying the classic Cold War jet that became famous during the Korean War. The North American F-86 Sabre was one of the most important jet fighters of the early Cold War era, known for its incredible dogfights with the MiG-15 over Korea. Agile, fast and beautifully designed, it’s the perfect aircraft to test in a high-speed valley run through the Mach Loop. So the question is simple… How fast can the F-86 Sabre complete the Mach Loop? Expect tight valleys, high-speed turns, and classic jet fighter performance as we put this aviation legend through its paces. If you enjoy military aviation, flight simulation, low-level flying, and Mach Loop fast-jet action, make sure to subscribe to Geordie Wings for more Microsoft Flight Simulator adventures, VFR flying, historic aircraft flights and aviation challenges. ✈️ Aircraft: North American F-86 Sabre 🗺️ Location: Mach Loop, North Wales 🎮 Simulator: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020
