I'm alone and I am in Yaoundé, Cameroon so let's go explore and see what this African city has to offer. I stayed at the Star Land Hotel Bastos which is the newest hotel in Yaoundé and it was pretty good and not too expensive. I started by going on top of the highest mountain in Yaoundé called Mont Fébé from where you get a beautiful view of the city. From there, a quick stop at the first ever mall in Yaoundé which was very nice I have to say. And this is where the adventure starts! I made my way to Parc de la Méfou which is a primate sanctuary about 90 minutes from Yaoundé city centre... DO NOT use Google Map to go there! It made me take the weirdest route but I have no regrets because I met some... interesting people to say the least. Once there I have the opportunity to see many apes, gorillas and so much more. After a quick stop at the Reunification Monument I decided to go the the Hilton Hotel Yaounde for dinner because I heard that there is bats there at night! Overall a great day of discovering Yaounde.
