Our visit to Bonnievale was truly remarkable. As we arrived, we were immediately captivated by the sight of a meticulously-maintained golf course, and as we drove further, the prominent Dutch Reformed Church building at the heart of the town caught our attention. We took our time exploring it from every angle, appreciating its grandeur. We were also very happy to have found the old train station where everything had started for this community. The real gem, however, was discovering the Myrtle Rigg Memorial Church, the only one of its kind in the world, built at the request of a dying child.
