Shooting and Editing a Musical: The Wedding Singer

Theatre photography is not easy, and in this video I work with a local theatre school as they put on a great performance of the musical The Wedding Singer. This excellent show is based on the Adam Sandler, Drew Barrymore film of the same name. All 80s pop, and luminous clothes. I use my Fujifilm X=T3 and X-T20 with two zooms and a prime (Fujifilm 35mm, f1.4, 18-55mm, and 55-200mm) to capture images of the company working in their rehearsal space, the tech run, the dress run and a couple of the performances. Back in the studio, I talk through my workflow to process a large number of images very quickly (overnight), and show how to a couple of tricks in Adobe Lightroom can help simplify and automate a few steps along the way.
