Join us as we explore the Southern Oregon Coast, one of the most beautiful and rugged coastlines in the United States. In this episode we visit Bandon, Port Orford, and Humbug Mountain State Park while discovering hidden beaches, dramatic sea stacks, coastal hikes, and incredible sunsets. Our journey begins in Bandon, Oregon with a stop at Face Rock Creamery before settling into camp at Humbug Mountain State Park. Along the way we explore the charming town of Bandon, visit the harbor and the Coquille River Lighthouse, and discover the incredible Washed Ashore art exhibit. We also tour the world-famous Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, visit the historic Cape Blanco Lighthouse, hike the scenic trails at the Heads of Orford, and explore the rugged coastline at Sisters Rock State Park. During our stay we spend time with family, explore tide pools near Port Orford, and continue a tradition we've enjoyed for decades — hiking the challenging Mount Humbug Trail. From dramatic coastal views to quiet moments on the beach watching the sunset, the southern Oregon coast never disappoints. If you enjoy RV travel, coastal adventures, and discovering hidden gems along the way, you’ll love this trip!
